Another service to commemorate the loss of Ellan Vannin is being planned for Ramsey in December.
The 100th anniversary of the disaster in 1909, in which 35 people lost their lives, was marked with an elaborate service on the River Mersey last year.
Descendants of some of the victims took part and they have approached organiser Harry Edmondson to make it an annual event.
He is planning a service by the plaque marking the tragedy, on Ramsey harbourside, on December 3.
Mr Edmondson says the relatives don't want the anniversary to pass unmarked:
