Manx-registered overseas charities come together in St John's today (Monday) to share their knowledge, experience and expertise.
A day of seminars will have 'use of local examples' as its central theme, and the five speakers all have links with the Isle of Man.
Claire Bader from the One World Centre, which is coordinating the event, says an important aim of the gathering is to develop relationships between the charities, and help them improve the quality and management of their work (play audio file):
The Charities Conference runs from 9am to 4pm, and is supported by the H & S Davidson Trust.
