Investigation into brake failure incident ongoing
Transport bosses have refused to disclose information about safety on Manx railways, as an investigation continues.
The Department of Infrastructure received a Freedom of Information request last month seeking maintenance and service records for its fleet of electric trams.
It's after a Snaefell Mountain Railway carriage suffered brake failure descending from the summit in early August.
Services were briefly suspended while a probe was launched.
Whilst the data requested is kept on file, the Department says it is not obliged to release it as proceedings are ongoing.
