IOM Travel Trade Association says
A group representing the Island's travel industry has praised recent announcements by the Steam Packet Company regarding its fares and schedules.
The Isle of Man Travel Trade Association has described the move to allow under-16s to travel free, and the releasing of the sailing schedule 18-months in advance, as 'game changing'.
The ferry operator announced a 'strategic reset' of its fare system earlier this month.
Meanwhile, measures the association would like to see introduced next include resident fares and discounted tourism travel during the Winter months.
