Big issues up for discussion
Transport watchdog TravelWatch will hold its spring public meeting this evening (28 April).
Topics for discussion are likely to include the Steam Packet's latest offer to government for a new user agreement, which it says will help address future visitor capacity - in the light of the newly appointed TT promoter's aim to expand the audience for TT and Classic TT over the next 10 years.
Also on the agenda, the replacement of the Pier Head landing stage in Liverpool and the reduction in the number of flights to London and the south-east this summer.
Chairman of the group Brendan O'Friel says they will also hear from the Island's Director of Public Transport Ian Longworth who has kept the group updated on an annual basis.
The meeting takes place in the Manx Legion Hall at 7.30pm.
