TravelWatch is calling for reviews of recent problems with the Island's transport links and the handling of them.
Chairman Brendan O'Friel, while speaking live on Talking Heads at lunchtime, said the passenger watchdog had today written to the infrastructure minister.
The Manannan hit debris over the Easter weekend, putting it out of action and disrupting hundreds of people's travel plans.
This was compunded by fog affecting flights to and from the Island.
