Alfred Cannan outlines plans for increases to personal allowances and child benefit
The treasury minister has announced increases to income tax personal allowances and child benefit in this morning's budget speech.
Alfred Cannan is currently setting out his plans for government spending over the next 12 months.
Personal allowances will rise from £13,250 to £14,000 from April, while child benefit will go up by 5%.
The proposals are subject to Tynwald approving the budget.
