Cannan gives initial reaction to US election result
Not particularly shocked or suprised by the result.
The Island's Treasury minister has given his initial reaction to the news Donald Trump has been elected to the US presidency.
Alf Cannan appeared live on Mandate to speak about another matter, but was asked for his views on the election, the result coming through just minutes before he came on.
He said it looked like another example of a country's population being fed up with the political establishment:
