Alex Allinson faced questions about economy in Tynwald earlier this week
The treasury minister says he remains optimistic about the Island's economy despite a number of challenges in recent months.
Alex Allinson's comments come after a number of high-profile e-gaming companies surrendered their Island licences, regulatory fines in the financial sector, and police investigations into organised crime on the Isle of Man.
Dr Allinson admits there are 'stresses' such as the cost of healthcare, the Island's demographics and connectivity.
But, he told Manx Radio's Phil Gawne there are reasons to be positive:
