Alex Allinson responds to caller’s concerns that one-hour cap hinders town centre visits
The treasury minister has committed to speaking with Ramsey Commissioners following concerns over disability parking time limits.
Frank, a caller to Manx Radio’s Mannin Line, voiced frustration that disability parking has been capped at one hour for years, while other spaces allow up to two hours.
He says this restricts his ability to visit the town centre given he is bound to a wheelchair.
Minister Alex Allinson agrees more needs to be done:
Ramsey Town Commissioners have been approached for comment.
