Benefit is going up by 2.9 percent in 2026/27
The treasury minister has promised to review the impact a freeze on the rate of disability allowance is having on the people who claim it.
Previously, there were concerns it had got out of line compared to the other benefits provided by the government.
This year it's gone up by 2.9 percent, which is below the current inflation rate.
But after being questioned about the impact of that freeze, Chris Thomas MHK has promised it's something he's looking at:
