Cannan seeks clarity on company price structure
The Treasury Minister will meet bosses at Manx Gas this morning (Monday).
It follows demonstrations last week outside the House of Keys and the Manx Gas headquarters.
They were protesting against the company's controversial pricing structure and what they deemed a lacklustre response from the Office of Fair Trading.
Alfred Cannan will speak to Manx Gas managing director Tony Nichols and top executives.
He explained what he's hoping to get out of the meeting:
The agreement between Manx Gas and the Office of Fair Trading, which runs until December 2018, limits the company's profits-after-costs to 9.9 per cent.
