Inflation rate of 6% recorded in December
The impact rising inflation on the Isle of Man is having on those who rely on government support is being monitored.
The rate of inflation rose to 6% in December, indicating a rise in the cost of living on the Island.
The increase has been largely attributed to the recent 27.5% gas price hike.
Treasury Minister David Ashford was asked whether this is likely to lead to an increase in demand for financial help:
