Information Commissioner issues decision notice on query into rental eligibility
Treasury has been told to look again at a Freedom of Information request which asked how properties in the Former Nurses' Home in Douglas were allocated.
The request asked for all information relating to the rental eligibility criteria and allocation policies for the Thie Clag building, which was transformed into a residential dwelling by the Manx Development Corporation.
In response, Treasury said it didn't hold the information, but the Information Commissioner has suggested further searches should be carried out.
Speaking about the request on Mannin Line, Treasury Minister Chris Thomas claimed he helped the person submit the FOI request:
The Treasury has 30 days to issue a response.
