Minister says his team are starting to hold individual departments to account
The treasury minister has addressed concerns surrounding growth of the Isle of Man's working population and the current use of financial reserves.
At the 2023 Isle of Man Government Conference, Alex Allinson has been setting out an update on where the Island stands and the challenges his department is facing.
More than £150 million was taken from reserves to continue investing in healthcare, education and other front line public services throughout the fiscal year.
Dr Allinson says he's felt the need to be 'brutally honest':
