Couple's post-Christmas charity cleanup
One local business is hoping to help kids in need with money raised from old Christmas trees.
Owners Kaan and Nicole Douglas at Evolve Tree Care are providing a free tree-cycling service for residents this weekend.
Proceeds made from the sale of chippings will be donated to Ronald McDonald House in Liverpool and Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
The couple want to 'give something back' for the care they received when newly-born daughter Scarlett had reconstructive surgery at Alder Hey.
Anyone wanting to recycle their tree can call 264512 to find out more.
