32-year-old enters not guilty plea
A Peel man will stand trial after being accused of bringing almost £5,000 of cannabis to the Isle of Man.
David Alexander Tweedy, of Kerroo Coar, denied producing the class B drug during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32-year-old was allegedly sailing a fishing boat on 15 May last year which had 244 grams of cannabis onboard.
He’ll next appear in court on 11 July; bail continues.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 11 July committal proceedings - where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - were completed. He will next appear before the higher court on a date to be set.
