61-year-old appears at Douglas Courthouse
A Peel man will stand trial after denying riding his motorbike at almost twice the speed limit the day before TT started.
Sixty-one-year-old Neil Mackereth, of Ballabooie Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded not guilty to doing 99mph in a 50mph zone at Cronk-y-Voddy, on his Yamaha R1, on 28 May.
His case was adjourned until a pre-trial review on 13 September.
