31-year-old charged with four offences
A Peel man will stand trial after denying indecently assaulting a child.
Samuel Leon Fletcher, of Bridge Street, entered not guilty pleas during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 31-year-old allegedly committed four offences between December 2021 and January 2022.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 19 December; he’s been bailed until that date.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 19 December the case was elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery. He will next appear there on a date to be set.
Update: A five-day trial is due to start at Douglas Courthouse on 11 November 2024.
Update: The case has been adjourned to 26 November.
