47-year-old denies failing to tell Treasury about her income
A Ramsey woman will stand trial after being accused of claiming almost £11,000 in benefits she wasn’t entitled to.
Rachel Amber Green, of Premier Road, entered not guilty pleas to four offences during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
Between 1 January 2021 and 11 April 2023 the 47-year-old is accused of failing to inform Treasury her circumstances had changed and of making false representations to obtain benefits.
The court heard this allegedly led to an overpayment of £10,953.89.
A pre-trial review will take place on 1 February next year; she’s been bailed until that date.
