35-year-old appears at Douglas Courthouse
A Douglas man who’s been accused of causing death by dangerous driving will stand trial next year.
Jackson Joseph Paul, of Palace Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today (18 June).
The 35-year-old re-confirmed his not guilty plea in front of the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jordan Thomas died following a road traffic collision, on Harbour Road in Onchan, on 25 February.
A five-day trial will start on 20 January 2025; bail has been granted until that date.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 28 June the trial date was moved. It is now due to start on 10 February 2025.
