Tributes are being paid to a man who made a huge contribution to many aspects of Manx life.
Harvey Briggs, who has passed away at the age of 94, was a respected farmer, journalist and Captain of the Parish of Onchan.
He and his wife Laura farmed at Ballakilmartin for more than half a century.
