
Tribute is being paid to a man whose drive, energy and persuasive ability played a pivotal role in Hospice in the Isle of Man.
John Dennis from Castletown passed away at the Hospice on Friday at the age of 73.
A former chairman of the charity’s fundraising committee and a trustee and director of Share the Care, he led the fundraising drive during a critical time.
Founder and former president of Hospice, Nadene Crowther, says he was a man of many skills and carried out tireless work which proved essential.
A private funeral service has taken place at Douglas Crematorium at 1.15pm today.
A memorial service is to be held next month.
