Four died in a car crash last week
Four Laxey residents killed in a car crash a week ago played an active role in the community and will be fondly remembered.
Former Garff MHK, President of Tynwald Steve Rodan has paid tribute to his former constituents who he said were long-term friends and, for a time, colleagues.
Inquests opened yesterday (Monday) into the deaths of 89 year-old Derek Brown, his 81 year-old wife Joyce, 84 year-old Kath Garrett and Marie Gordon, aged 81.
Mr Rodan says the tragedy has caused great sadness.
