Tributes are being paid to an inspirational lady.
Katherine Crowe passed away last night (Wednesday) at the age of 39 after a long and brave battle with terminal cancer.
A mother of two, she had made music for more than 25 years, raising funds for various charities and even released her own version of Charlie Chaplin's Smile, accompanied by the London Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
She also published her first children's book last year.
Writing on Facebook last night her husband Andy said:
"She's gone! At 9.50 tonight 7th May 2014, My beautiful, inspiring and perfect wife and soul mate slipped peacefully away. She waited to see the last of her closest friends and made sure all of the loose ends were tied up. Rest my beauty - I'll see you on the flip side XX All my love, Andy"
