Champion of spoken word helped shape the Guild
Tributes have been paid to Pat Corrin who died earlier this week.
Pat inspired generations of Islanders to get involved in performance of the spoken word, helped public speakers with their delivery and gave nervous performers the confidence to get to their feet.
She was awarded an OBE in 1995 for her work with charities such as Cruse Bereavement.
She was involved for many years with the Manx Music Festival, widely known as the Guild.
Chairman of the Festival Sarah Kelly, and Vice Chair Anne Clarke, say the Guild wouldn't be what it is today without her.
