Tribute has been paid to one of the founders of the Island’s Hospice who has died at the age of 73.
Peter Vickers passed away on Tuesday following a long illness.
A former branch manager for Barclays Bank in Onchan, he was one of six members who set up Hospice in 1983 and was Hospice administrator for 13 years.
A service to celebrate his life will take place in the Royal Chapel of St John at 2.30pm next Thursday (September 6).
