
A charity mission taking life saving equipment and skills to Romania sets off from the Island on Saturday morning.
The team of seven, including three serving and three retired firefighters, will drive a three appliance convoy to the rural region of Giris de Cris.
The area, including its major city Oradea, is desperately short of modern equipment and fully trained staff.
