Vessel departs over 45 minutes behind schedule
It's understood a truck's position near the rear doors of the Manannan was the cause of this morning's late ferry departure.
The vessel - covering the Heysham service while the Ben-my-Chree is in dry dock for its annual service - departed shortly before 9am, almost an hour behind the scheduled departure time of 8am.
Her return sailing is still scheduled for midday departure.
