
Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw has defended the decision to cut back on parade laps at TT 2008.
He says there were numerous parade events at last year's centenary event, including the re-enactment of the first TT on the St John's course.
This year the emphasis will be on more racing, including the re-introduction of the 125 and 250cc races for two strokes on the Billown circuit.
