Television audience figures for this year’s TT have blasted through the six million mark – an increase of 20 per cent on last year.
The data shows North One’s coverage of the races on ITV4 attracted a million more viewers than in 2012.
TV viewing hit a high for the Monster Energy Supersport show on the Monday of race week, when the audience reached a peak of 725,000 - about three tiems the slot average.
Meanwhile, the Isle of Man TT Races mobile app was downloaded 73,000 times during the festival – attracting 13,000 daily users.
The figures reveal 1.86 million people connected to Manx Radio TT digitally, and the official programme from Mannin Media saw a 9.5 per cent increase in sales to put them at their highest level since the Centenary TT in 2007.
