Iconic landmark transformed into barber shop and coffee house
An iconic landmark of the Isle of Man’s entertainment industry has been given a new lease of life by a former TT rider.
Paramount City – on Douglas Promenade – has reopened its doors after extensive renovation as a barber shop and coffee house.
It’s the brainchild of Richard ‘Milky’ Quayle and his wife Lydia who hope to make the venue a continental style café bar.
They’ll be applying for an alcohol licence in due course.
