Sir John Lorimer and wife Lady Lorimer were volunteering this week
The Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man has described getting involved in marshalling at this year's TT as a 'fantastic experience'.
Sir John Lorimer and his wife, Lady Lorimer, earlier this week joined the volunteers helping to cover the mountain course during the racing fortnight so far.
His Excellency also got a taste of what it's like to be a sidecar passenger in 2022 as he went on a drive in Jurby with 17-time TT winner, Dave Molyneux.
He's told Radio TT how much the races mean to the Manx way of life:
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
New male red panda coming to the Curraghs Wildlife Park
Be aware of phishing this time of the year
