Visitor figures for May up overall
The number of motorcycles coming to the Isle of Man for the TT period has dropped from last year.
Figures released by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company state that 13,236 bikes came between May 23 and June 8, compared to a figure of more than 14,000 in the 2017 festival.
The stats do however indicate that total visitor arrivals during the whole month of May are on the up, with just under 24,000 heading to Manx shores from Heysham and Liverpool this year.
The company says that's a seven per cent increase from the 2017 figure.
