Just 24 hours after the announcement of prohibited and restricted areas around the TT Mountain course for 2008, signs marking the zones are being stolen.
The thefts are taking place mainly on the Mountain section.
Police are warning of heavy consequences for offenders.
T.T. Motorsport and Development Manager Paul Phillips says the situation is very serious:
