MHK blasts Minister for not listening
A complete waste of money - that's the view of North Douglas MHK John Houghton on the cost of examining a T.T. World Series.
The Department of Economic Development announced at the end of last week it was shelving the idea.
In the House of Keys yesterday, Minister Laurence Skelly revealed £276,000 has been spent on the project.
John Houghton says Mr Skelly should have listened to people on the Island rather than paying large sums to London-based Sports Consultancy:-
