Cube Partnership in liquidation
The company responsible for supplying the official TT merchandise has confirmed another part of its group has gone into liquidation.
Cube International says the wider group – away from ‘Cube Partnership’ – is continuing to trade through ‘historic challenges’ having successfully delivered a number of contracts.
It adds it’s already developing a new range of merch for the 2024 TT Races and is looking forward to sharing these designs with Isle of Man retailers shortly.
Cube Partnership was responsible for the merchandise and retail solutions for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, but despite the forecasts of a positive outlook the reality, on the back of the Covid Pandemic, was less so.
The partnership was carrying too much debt which was having a negative impact on the wider group.
No staff positions were directly lost through the process and partnership debt has been re-structured and transferred to a new trading entity.
Cube International was awarded the TT contract earlier this year taking over from Manx company Motorsport Merchandise.
