Charges to be banned in the UK from next year
The chief minister's been asked to follow the UK's lead when it comes to card payment surcharges.
From January next year, extra fees for UK consumers paying by debit or credit card will be banned.
The change applies to Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and American Express.
