DOI Minister responds after Juan Turner MLC leaves department
A fundamental difference of opinion was at the heart of why Juan Turner MLC left the Department of Infrastructure last week.
That's according DOI Minister Phil Gawne.
Mr Gawne reiterated Mr Turner's statement that the decision was a mutual one after a disagreement over legislation.
Mr Turner says the department is 'run by civil servants'.
In response, Mr Gawne says Mr Turner was wrongly 'having a go' at the civil servants, who make decisions only in the absence of ministers.
