SES Satellite Leasing submits plans for facility at Greenlight House
The Manx company that produces the TT highlights programmes for ITV needs a satellite dish installed at its headquarters.
SES Satellite Leasing has submitted a planning application for the equipment, which would be used by Greenlight Television in Tromode.
The firm has been using a temporary antenna for the last six months which has to be re-erected each time it's used, but the application says this could result in damage.
Permission is being sought to have the dish in place permanently, at least until Greenlight's contract to film the TT and Classic races expires in 2022.
