The loss of TT highlights coverage to some television viewers, following this week's re-tune of the Freeview service in the Island, was outside the control of the Manx government.
So says Tourism minister Martyn Quayle, who's described as 'disappointing' the loss of ITV 3 and ITV 4 to those viewers who are served by an on-Island relay transmitter.
Viewers who receive a signal from a main transmitter in the UK are not affected and the channels are still available through satellite television.
Mr Quayle says the TV production company North One is hoping to find other avenues to keep TT fans happy.
