Investigations continue after three-way collision
Police have confirmed two people were killed in an incident on the Island's roads earlier today.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision, which took place on the A3 Lezayre Road at around 12.35pm.
The driver of one car, a 79-year-old woman, died at the scene; her passenger, a 85-year-old man, died later in hospital.
Both are believed to be from the nearby area.
The second vehicle's driver, 68, was seriously injured, and remains in Noble's Hospital; the other vehicle's driver, 66, was unhurt.
Investigations are continuing into the collision - any witnesses not yet known to Police are asked to call 631212.
