Kirsty Collister and Oksana Hargreaves are vying to fill the empty seat left by John Lovelady.
He resigned due to increasing personal commitments.
The by-election will take place on 8 October.
The local authority says full details about the polling station, and a formal notice of poll, will be released in due course.
