
Two people are being held by police after a major drugs seizure in Douglas.
Officers recovered £30,000 worth of Class A drugs in a pro-active operation yesterday.
Two men were arrested in the capital and have since been charged with serious drug-related offences.
In a statement Detective Sergeant Paul Holland said the constabulary's Pro Active Team is committed to targeting criminal networks involved in the importation and supply of controlled drugs, acquisitive crime and and crime that affects the quality of life of Island residents.
