Early intervention is needed to help those who self-harm.
That's the belief of two charities who've joined forces after reporting an increase in the number of people contacting them about the issue.
Samaritans Isle of Man and Isle Listen are hosting an awareness training session tonight - which will look at understanding the challenges of self-harm, what it can lead to and how to care for someone who has hurt themselves.
