An altercation in Douglas yesterday (Sunday) teatime left a man in Noble’s Hospital with facial injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Castle Street at around 5pm.
They say the area was busy at the time and onlookers saw what happened, including a man on a bicycle and a man in a wheelchair who are being urged to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call police headquarters on 631212.
Two men were later arrested.
