Two men have been charged with the manslaughter of homeless man Joseph McCabe.
Forty-three year-old Marcus Anthony McCormack of North View in Peel and 24 year-old Mark Anthony Quirk of Castlemona Avenue were originally charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on Mr McCabe, who subsequently died.
Inspector Michael Musson, prosecuting, said he did not know yet if the new charge is to replace the original one.
Both men were remanded in custody until December 28.
Sandra Rose Quirk, 41, also of North View, had her bail renewed to the same date on a charge of committing an act against public justice.
