Member denies it's down to work ethics
An MHK who's responsible for over a third of questions in the House of Keys has maintained there is no 'slacking off' in there.
As of today, 100 written and oral questions have been put to ministers by the new administration.
Thirty-four of them have been tabled by Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford has asked 27 - and third placed is Onchan member Julie Edge, with 16.
House of Keys: the most prolific questioners
(As of 7 February 2017)
1. Lawrie Hooper (Ramsey): 34
2. David Ashford (Douglas North): 27
3. Julie Edge (Onchan): 16
4. Rob Callister (Onchan): 10
=5. Tim Baker (Ayre & Michael), Claire Bettison (Douglas East), Daphne Caine (Garff), Bill Shimmins (Middle): 3
6. Martyn Perkins (Garff): 1
Mr Hooper denies the numbers can be attributed to any individual members' worth ethic:
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
Finish line in sight for Atlantic rowers
Further delays to Manxman sailings following weather disruption
