Both recorded in the community
The health minister has confirmed this lunchtime there have been two further deaths as a result of Covid-19.
Both people who died were nursing home residents who passed away in the community, not at hospital.
It brings the total number of deaths from coronavirus in the Isle of Man to six.
Also this lunchtime, Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford said that cases were starting to spread across all age groups of the population, adding that 56% of people affected were women.
Forty-seven health care workers have been infected in total, with 30 of those cases active and four being treated in hospital.
And at Abbotswood nursing home in Ballasalla there are 37 cases of coronavirus, all residents, which Mr Ashford admits is worrying:
The total number of cases in the Isle of Man now stands at 296, after five more were confirmed on Saturday morning.
