Quayle says it gives cause for concern
Two new Covid-19 cases have been found where the source of origin is so far unknown.
They were detected on Tuesday night by the government lab and contact tracing teams.
The pair are self-isolating with testing of close contacts underway.
Contact tracing has started immediately.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says 'after so many days without cases, this gives cause for concern'.
‘I cannot emphasize enough how critical it is to call 111 if you have any symptoms that could be related to COVID – even if you have been vaccinated.’
Ministers met this morning to find out the latest, and are due to meet again at lunchtime to consider any updates.
